300 Hr Krama Yoga Teacher Training Tuition, Terms, & Conditions

Attendance Policy

Consistent attendance is an essential component of the Freedom in Discipline: 300-Hour Krama Yoga Teacher Training (RYT-500) program. The integrity and accreditation of this training depend on each trainee’s full participation in the 270 required in-person contact hours as outlined by Yoga Alliance.

Attendance Requirements

  • Trainees must have completed & graduated from a previous 200 hr YTT program

  • Trainees are expected to attend all scheduled sessions of the program, including all A and B weekends.

  • Each trainee must complete a minimum of 270 in-person contact hours to qualify for graduation and Yoga Alliance certification.

  • Punctuality is required for all sessions. Repeated tardiness (arriving more than 10 minutes late or leaving early) may count toward missed time at the discretion of the Lead Trainer.

Monitoring & Documentation

  • Attendance will be recorded and monitored by the Program Director or Lead Trainer at the beginning of each session.

  • Attendance logs will be maintained throughout the program as part of the student’s permanent record and will be submitted to Yoga Alliance if required.

  • Students must sign in at the start of each training day and confirm their attendance for each training block.

Absences & Make-Up Policy

After 3 months, graduation is forfeited, but participants have the ability to re-enroll in a future YTT at hOMetown within 18 months of their missed graduation date at a 50% discount. Participants have the ability to do this once.

If a student misses any portion of the training—whether due to illness, emergency, or personal circumstances—the missed hours must be made up in order to graduate.
Make-up methods may include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending additional public classes at hOMetown taught by Lead Trainers or approved faculty.

  • Attending non-YTT workshops or trainings offered at hOMetown.

  • Completing additional reading and/or written assignments assigned by the Lead Trainer.

  • Private mentorship sessions with a Lead Trainer (may include an additional fee).

All make-up work and hour equivalencies will be determined at the discretion of the Lead Trainer or Program Director based on the nature of the missed content.

Notification & Documentation

  • Students are expected to notify the Program Director as soon as possible if they anticipate missing any portion of the training.

  • In cases of illness or emergency, documentation (such as a doctor’s note) may be requested.

  • Unexcused or uncommunicated absences may result in dismissal from the program without refund.

Completion Window

  • All make-up hours must be completed and documented within 3 months of the official graduation weekend.

  • Graduation certificates and Yoga Alliance registration will not be issued until all 270 contact hours are completed and verified.

  • After the 3-month post-graduation window, the student’s eligibility to graduate from that training cohort will be forfeited.

  • However, the student may enroll in a future YTT cohort at hOMetown within eighteen months of their missed graduation date at a 50% tuition discount. A participant is permitted to do this once.
